REICHEN POSEY
Nationally Recognized Speaker and Advocate
Reichen Posey is a nationally recognized speaker and advocate for resilience, mental health, and community healing. His journey in resilience advocacy began after a life-altering experience on December 14, 2012, when he survived the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting as a first-grader. That day forever changed his life and ignited his passion for helping others understand that healing from trauma is possible—and that transformation can emerge from even the darkest moments.
In the years following Sandy Hook, Reichen discovered that resilience isn’t built in isolation—it’s forged through connection, purpose, and the courage to keep moving forward. He found his own path to healing through community and belonging, experiences that gave him firsthand insight into what truly helps people overcome adversity. This realization became the foundation of his work: empowering individuals and organizations to create environments where people don’t just survive their challenges—they rise above them.
Today, Reichen is a sought-after speaker who has been featured on HBO Sports and 9News for his powerful story of transformation. He addresses diverse audiences including schools, corporations, athletic organizations, mental health conferences, and community groups nationwide. His presentations combine raw authenticity with practical strategies for building resilience, processing trauma, fostering supportive communities, and finding meaning in the midst of pain.
Known for his authentic and relatable speaking style, Reichen effectively translates personal experience into universallessons that resonate with anyone facing adversity. Whether speaking to students navigating their own struggles, corporate leaders building stronger teams, or communities seeking to create cultures of care, he delivers actionable insights that inspire real change.
Reichen currently resides in Colorado, where he continues his education as a college student while serving as a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and youth development. He remains committed to being a driving force in advancing conversations around resilience, healing, and the transformative power of community—one story, one audience, and one life at a time.
